Nicholas Beames is an entrepreneur based in Melbourne, Australia, and is the CEO and Founder of Astute Payroll.
Astute Payroll is a leading provider of HR software and solutions in Australia. In 2010 Astute Payroll was ranked in the BRW Fast Starters list, the BRW Fast100 list, and the SmartCompany Smart50 list.
Before creating Astute Payroll, Nicholas worked in the capacity of General Manager for a large publicly-listed Australian human resources outsourcing firm. Before this he owned, for a number of years, a successful professional services recruitment firm in Sydney.
Nicholas lives in Melbourne with his wife and son, and when not at work enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys donating time to his favourite charitable organisation Second Bite. Nicholas has completed a Graduate Diploma in Commerce with Sydney University and is completing an MBA with Southern Cross University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resource Industry and is a Justice of the Peace.
